An umbrella organization representing more than 297 co-operative businesses and credit unions in the province, we’re constantly helping groups and individuals take a shared passion and turn it into business – one that not only helps them to help themselves, but to grow the economy too.

REGISTRY OF JOINT STOCKS CO-OPERATIVES BRANCH:
The Co-operatives Branch manages the Co-operative Associations Act of Nova Scotia, providing startup assistance, incorporation, registration, advisory services, inspections and winding-up services to the provinces 300 co-operatives.
